Fundamentally Harmonic: As Gracefully as the Birches

Autumnal Greetings!

Here we are, once again in the season of release.

This is still such a liminal time. Can you feel it?

As we continue to unravel from 18 months of pandemic-induced grief and stress, this gorgeous  fall foliage is a timely reminder: change is the constant in life.

The colors in the Monadnock Region are beginning to burst, even as some withered leaves fall  before they change hues. Nature, and life, has its own way. And they have their way with us.

I used to struggle at this time of year. I love the autumnal light and the brilliance of the colors.  The shortening days and some poignant death anniversaries make this a bittersweet time for  me. And yet through it all, nature and earth impel us to release and to turn.

How we struggle with change and grief! We are so much more comfortable repressing it or  allowing its close ally, anger, to bubble up. Unexpressed, this grief turns inward, storing itself in  our muscles, organs, hearts. And it builds.

When we resist grief, we lose the flow of joy and love. When we dare to simply witness our  emotions and allow change to shape us, energy moves through us like the seasons, slowly,  deliberately, predictably. Nature is constantly working to restore itself to harmony. We can do  the same.

What a dance!

How do we let go as gracefully and effortlessly as these sturdy maples, oaks, and birches?  How do we remain true to our inner nature while releasing that which no longer aligns?

When I am in search of an answer, I turn to both music and nature. Music and its vibrations  have a way of working through me that enables me to see the root of my emotions more  clearly. And these hills that surround us in southern New Hampshire mirror the dance of  releasing while remaining deeply rooted. It is release which facilitates growth!  The withering leaves drifting downward will become the very humus which supports copious  root systems. Release, and then grow.

Paint that picture in your mind’s eye.

Allow that image to fill your heart.

You, releasing and grounding simultaneously.

As you breathe, draw that image deeply inside.

Feel your wings spread wide with the strength of the fertile ground from which you were born. Visualize your own withered leaves drifting downward.

Allow them to melt into the earth and become part of what keeps you strong, what promotes  growth and rootedness.

This moment is a season, a turning, and we simply need to turn toward it.

This is the bounty and beauty of sound and vibrational healing!

Through experiencing the vibrations of the gong, Tibetan and crystal singing bowls and  therapeutic tuning forks, our bodies are restored to their most fundamentally harmonic states of  coherence, healing, and peace. In my tuning sessions, I guide you through a gentle journey  which returns you to your true nature! This results in a deep restoration and transformation! We  move from release, to groundedness, and then joy! Reach out to learn more!

I picture you with your arms open to the heavens, welcoming in the bounty of this beautiful day.  May the earth hold you.

May you gently release and turn. Release, then turn.

Love,

Marybeth
